Randy Sullivan has a diverse business and real estate practice, and has successfully resolved cases through mediation, arbitration, and trial. His business and real estate experience includes nonprofit corporate governance, drafting of easements and construction contracts, commercial lease disputes, quiet title actions, buyer-seller disputes, premises liability, mortgage broker litigation, trade secret litigation, employment litigation, and construction defect litigation.
In addition to the above, Mr. Sullivan’s litigation experience involves complex litigation, including the successful defense of False Claims Act allegations, the representation of directors and officers, and religion and law disputes.
Recent Representation:
• Successful defense of director for alleged damages during an appeal through motion for judgment at trial.
• Successful prosecution of quiet title and inverse condemnation action against State of California to secure a right of way.
• Successful representation of partnership owning 9 million dollar mobile home park in San Diego County in breach of lease action.
• Successful representation of various lessees in defense of false claims action brought by private qui tam plaintiff and the State of California.
During law school, Mr. Sullivan worked as a clerk in the United States Attorney's Office, where he made daily appearances in Federal District Court. Randy has also worked as a Judicial Extern in the Superior Court of Santa Clara for the Honorable Mary Jo Levinger and in VA Software Corporation's legal department, working on NDAs and license agreements.
